l want the turbine sound on start up. there r clips on you tube where you can hear the turbo whistling at idle.l have already taken the silencer off l can hear it more at take off and heavy load no change at idle though. my truck is a 2002 dodge ram 3500

It is not supposed to and probably has a lockout.

Rev it up and spool up the turbo

Put our truck in gear, step on the brake and then give it gas.
You wo not hear your turbo spooling at idle in netural. There is no load on the motor.

It is because it does not start spooling till 1200 RPM under load no spooling just revving it> My 04.5 screams just off idle> And all the way up> l have Ram/Air into the stock box> 6'' hose>And Air aid filter> The small exhaust and turbo is restricting the flow> Our 05 same truck is half the noise so it is up to the engine>
