you do know the parts stores have a easy set up that just plugs in the wires connectors. it goes between connectors on the van/car/truck and T to a trailer plug .

the above answer is right ,you can buy a plug in harness that eliminates cutting in to any wires on that one,and it supplies all the needed power for any trailer hook up,you do not need to cut in to the wires on this one,you,ll create problems by cutting in to them,buy the plug in adapter they work well and give no problems,you do not want to cut any wire on a dodge if possible,good luck.
