Hi everyone!

Any Dodge Magnum RT lovers out there?
Is it me or has Dodge ruined the Magnum with the new front look for the 2008 model?
l personally feel that the 2005 - 2007 front look is much more attractive compared with the 2008 models. What do you people think?

Also, Chrysler has discontinued the production of the Dodge Magnum. It’s no longer on Dodge.com According to Chrysler it is mainly due to poor sales. My question is:
Is it because it’s an ugly car and nobody wants to buy it?
Is it because station wagons are so unpopular in North America and people would rather get an SUV, Crossover, or Minivan?
Or is the thought of a 5.7 V8 340HP engine in a station wagon just odd?
What is wrong with this car that Chrysler had to discontinue it due to poor sales? Just curious people.
l drive a black 2006 Dodge Magnum RT and it get a bit of attention, so I’m just wondering is it because l drive a monstrosity, or is it because it’s a sweet ride.

l absolutely love Dodge but l can not say l support the Magnum or the Caliber.

It was discontinued because it is ''niche'' car. a car that relatively few people r interested in buying. Chrysler is on the verge of bankruptcy, so they can not afford to keep models that do not sell well. l will keep my opinions to myself about Chrysler Corp., but to me they r great at designing cool-looking cars, but can not back that up with the consistent quality that people demand today. Check out the Consumer Reports Used Car Guide & look at how they Chrysler products compare to other makes & models for reliablity & resale value. it is an eye-opener.

l really liked the Magnum, you are exactly right about the 05-07 models looking better. The 2008 looks alright, in the SRT8 trim but thats about it, sad to see the Magnum go. Just remember they do stop production of sweet rides: Camaro, H-1 Hummer, Ram SRT-10..

l thought that those cars was selling pretty good & l was surprised to hear the they discontinued those,my self l like the 2007 model & l also liked the fact that it had the hemi in it,i think it will become a collectors car now,i could be wrong but a friend of mine has one & he set it up on blocks & does not intend on driving it for a while,i think the reason they did not sell good was the fact that they was a cross over & had the sporty look to them & that confused a lot of people as to what the car should be,it to me it was a good looking vehicle,but the sales is what did it in,they have to sell so many to be able to break even on them & according to them they did not break even on sales verses manufacturing them,this may make them collectors cars some day though,who knows,good luck.
