How do I persuade my parents to buy me a white 1970 Dodge Challenger

Show them the movie vanishing point, then show them the movie death proof. If they are not convinced by that, then you're boned.

You tell them it is the coolest car u can possibly get. So cool u will probably have to keep the keys in the refrigerator.

It is so cool even Europeans love it, & that is something rare with American cars.

You tell them that getting such a awesome set of wheels will make a more responsible driver (simply because u would not be able to live with yourself if u crashed it).
That u will remember it for the rest of ur life, & them for providing it.

Of course, if all this fails, u can always resort to begging

What is their reasoning for not buying it? does it need a lot of work? It is hard to answer with out knowing the facts. Tell them ie will always appreciate in value it taken care of.

Tell them that girls hate them, they get good gas mileage, they are cheap to insure, they are safe to drive, etc. If you tell them the truth, they will run the other way, l wanted a 426 Hemi when l was 16yrs old, do you think my parents would go for that!! Good luck finding one under $10K in drivable condition, maybe a C-body or small block A-body would be easier on their pocketbook. E-bodiy mopars have always commanded top dollar.

that may be hard to do,especially considering the cost of this vehicle and the value of it,that is one of the most wanted challengers on the market right now so your going to have to be real convincing on this one,i cant even afford one of those right now,all l can tell you is give them the resons why they should buy you this one and cross your fingers and hope they believe you,good luck with it.

If you're convincing enough to persuade your parents that you need to have a Challenger, ask them to give me one as well please.
