how many miles will 2004 dodge truck last

no one can honestly answer that question.it all depends on the owner and who drives it..
the upkeep of the motor, body and undercarriage is a big factor as to the lifetime of a vehicle.
also if the vehicle is in a wreck and totalled will have a big factor of the lifetime of the vehicle..
the best thing to make a vehicle last is to take care of it and its needs.

that is all going to depend on how many miles it has on it now and how well it was take care of ,i have sen some of those go well beyond 200 thousand,but at or around 150 thousand you will have to change the timing chain and gears in it or they will break and cause major problems with it,good luck.

If the truck has been serviced all of it is life, well into the high 200's. The only bad thing is that a lot of people neglected was paying attention to the rear ends. These trucks were notorious for the rear end clips going
bad(though, they do not all have this problem). It is kind of hard to prevent that, it is just that dodge found out a way to save more money in production & they use a cheap rear end clip. If ur rear end rings while u r driving, make sure u take it into a dealership & let them hear it if u have any warranty left. Just make sure to check & change ur rear end fluids. My old man had a 2003 Ram & his had about 90K miles & it gave him no problems. l used to have a 2003 Ram & it had about 60K with no problems. l currently have a 2004 Ram with about 50K with no problems. We always service our cars routinely & do not do a half a*ssed job on it. If that truck has been serviced well in the past & u continue servicing it well, it will last a lifetime.
