My 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7 liter V8 stalls when l coast.This happens when l have been accelarting and l let off the gas.Does anyone know what could be the cause.

If u have fuel injection, it sounds like either low fuel pressure..filter dirty..or the throttle position sensor giving false readings, which would allow a large slug of air, without the necessary fuel to go with it. Quite a lot like the accelerator pump symptom above.
Both can be tested..fuel pressure, & the TPS. Google rocks , but l would also check ur local dodge dealer & make sure nothing was wrong with the 2005 dodge trucks & hopefuly if their was yours is in warranty.

2005 Ram had a 7 year 70000 mile warranty. let the dealer figure it out.

Not only do you have the 5/70 power train warrenty. You also have the 5/100 emissions warrnty under federal law. This is part of your emissions system.
