l went back out to it today and it fired right up drove it homeit started fine 2 more times now went back out and it just turns over again

Does it have spark. If it is truely a Dodge you are very lucky it turns over at all. It could be a bad air filter or fuel filter or bad sensor but most probably a bad fool pump. Dodge is a mighty fine vehicle. Does it have nitrous.

check for fuel pump priming noises & check ur fuel filter to make sure it is not clogged. if it is not a fuel issue then u more than likely have an electrical issue but u should have at least some of the cylinders firing. may as well change out ur air filter at the same time u remedy ur situation. also, do u have least have gas in the tank? when was the last time it was driven? if it is been sitting for a while ur fuel injectors might be gummed up from old fuel. when u get it taken care of, it would help to add some fuel injector cleaner in the tank from time to time.

the two main things you need to check for on that one is spark to the plugs and for gas,if it has those two things and has not jumped timing it should start and run,id say if it is not running you have lost the spark to it,see also if you can hear the fuel pump kick in when you first turn on the key,it should run for a few seconds if it does not check the fuse for it they do blow sometimes for no reason,good luck.

check for any stored codes in the ecm

check the fuel filter - may be clogged

spark check is last

l believe the starter may be going bad-typical problem when it starts cold but wo not start after it heats up
