My key fob will only lock and unlock my doors, it wo not alarm and dis-alarm my mopar evsIl alarm system.The dealership is saying because it is a new BCM they can not program the fob to work with an after market alarm, but yet the same dealership programmed the exact fob to work with both door and alarm system a month ago.l went to an alarm installation store and looked at it and said it is an after market dealer installed alarm.Is there any place l can get this programmed and why can not the dealership program the fob beacuse it is a new BCM?
This morning l called another dealer and maker of alarm.Both have told me that the dealership should have been able to program the key fob.The dealership advised me to talk to the service manager.l called 4 x is and they said he was away from his desk, l never said who l was.So l went there personally.He told me to bring it in first thing Monday morning.I am alil hesitant to do so, but why should l pay someone else to fix their mistake.l spent $500 on the BCM and for that amount of money l think everything should be done right.

Change you dealer. There is at least one technician specially trained in installation of Mopar after market kits, like alarms, DVD´s, fog lights, roof racks, etc. per dealer. Yours sounds like he went to vacations and the people who stays there don’t want to deal with your problem.
