l have a 1976 Dodge 440 magnum with 65,000. just the motor and trany out of a motor home. How much is it worth?

anywhere from a 1000-1500 bucks right now,that is about tops on the newer model engines,it will sell good though,those was low compression engines though,but they still sell good,good luck.

Sell your engine and trans separately
that engine is probably a thin wall 440 and that trans is a 727
if anyone wants a trans for their mopar BB you need a BB trans, cause a small block trans wont bolt up.
and a Magnum dosent mean crap unless you can back it up with casting numbers and that still doesnt give you the desired thick walled big block

If it is out of a '76 motor home and it is the original engine, it is not a Magnum, it is just a 440 cubic engine, nothing to turn your nose up at, but not a Magnum. Magnums had different cams, carbs and exhaust manifolds, they were performance engines, the last year for sale to the public was 1974, if memory serves me correctly . . . . Charger and Road Runner GTX models only.
