l have a 2008 Dodge 1500 Mega Cab with a 5.7 Hemi in it.It seems to have a high rev limit but l am not sure of how high it actually goes.The motor is the same one that they put in the 2500 is and 3500's.Does anybody know the actual REV limit?

Put your foot on the gas and see how high it go's. That is what their for.

l have a 2006 and the limit is 5800. Turn off the OD, and put it in 2nd gear and wind it up. Look at the tach.

Yeah, you can rev it, if you want to possibly screw up your engine. Most engines have rev-limiters to prevent damage to your engine, but even then that is pushing it. Besides, that is probably going to be twenty bucks worth of gas down the drain. See if the dodge website has that information first.
