l am thinking of getting a nitrous kit in my 2003 cobra mustang and l need to know why you have to purge nitrous because l would like to know and l wanna do it the right way. not just put it together and use it without knowing what l am supposed to do.-thanks

make sure you buy a kit from a known
company do not buy junk. nitrous can
do bad things to a motor so be careful.

You will need forged pistons, rods and crankshaft or your motor will not last very long. And you purge the line, so when you hit the nitrous, you get nitrous and not air.

all your doing when you purge one is getting the air from the lines so you get strait nitrous from it,give it a couple of quick shots with the bleeder valve open that will purge the line and give you strait nitrous,you usually have to do this when you change bottle also,good luck.
