The truck while driving the are bag lite will come on it Will stay on tell l shut the engine off then if l start it again it may go a month with out coming on again.

l think the dealer would have to run diagnostics to see exactly whats going on. l do not know if this helps anything thing since there r many things that could go wrong with a complex system. My mom is airbag light came on in her accord, it turns out the the airbags communicate with the seat belts or something, the seat belts has to be replaced & that fixed the air bag problem. maybe In ur case the part that is bad does not send the cars computer system a signal that it is bad when it does the start up test, & then later down the road the system detects the problem when it does another self test on the system.
