if you get an automatic charger it will cut in and out on it own they usually cut in and charge for about 20% of the time the cut back out,they,ll continue to go through this cycle until the battery is fully charged,one thing though you do not need the computer hooked to it when its on charge,it may cause a surge in them,good luck.

dodge man is right the newer chargers will cut in & out several times & its best not to have anything connected to the battery at all when charging it up.
