DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEAS WHY THE HEADLIGHTS WILL NOT TURN ON? THE HIGHBEAMS WORK WHEN YOU PULLED THE TURN SIGNAL ARM TOWARDS YOU, BUT NO HEADLIGHTS. CHECKED ALL FUSES. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. TRYING TO BEAT THE CLOCK WITH DAY LIGHT SAVINGS TIME.

l suggest that u do not just check the 2 low beam head-lite fuses via ur eyes try either new fuses , or fuses the same amperage that u know work or get a 12 volt light tester & check to see with the head-lite switch on & low beam switch on that the fuses have power at both ends , plus there may be a relay in the head-lite circuit , also both low beam bulbs might be shot or u may have a bad low-high beam switch or it could be a problem with the wiring that feeds the head-lite system.

Hope that helps & best of luck.By the way l highly recommend buying a 12 volt light test probe bec u can then test the head-lite socket wiring etc & if u have to drive the van with the high-beams on , make sure you've the ownership , insurance , & ur license handy & just explain that the lights just went out & how you've been trying to figure out & fix the problem asap.

u probably need a light switch on that one, l own a 2001 model which is basically the same truck u have & l have had to replace the switch in it,it got so bad that of the night before the switch went out that the lights would get real dim on it & finally it went out the other day,without any real warning,if u own a test light check for power where the power comes out of the switch when its in the on position,if there is no power the switch went out,that was a real common problem with those ,i also own a 99 model that did the same thing,make sure u have power feed to the switch though,if u do not check the fuses again,good luck.
