40,000 Pulling horse trailer.

Recently, the transmission seems to be funky.About 2 weeks after we changed the fluid/filter...the transmission was very slow to shift.It will just rev up and up until you let off the gas and let it shift.When you get above 3500rpms, it will stop pulling you forward and just keep revving.Is this slippage or somethin with the torque converter?

Check the Fluid again.

re-check the fluid level and make sure its full ,and if it is its slipping and probably going out,that is exactly what they do when they go out,basically its going out and will have to be replaced,good luck.

It could be torque converter

But you said you changed the transmission fluid?
Or your other fluids?

If you continually change transmission fluids it is almost impossible to wear out an automatic transmission, although Dodge is notorious for it

Check the filter again
Make sure everything is fitted right and tight
This is not something you want to mess up

This could be several things:
1. clutches could be done
2. electronic/solenoid switches could be bad
3. engine could be off time thus cause the computer to calibrate incorrectly
