l have a 1998 dodge intrepid that after an hour or so of driving, will stall as l come to a stop. The car starts back up instantly but will still have the stalling problem at every stop from then on, the problem seems to fix itself for the rest of the day if the car stays off for awhile.The car will also stall on random days when not driven over an hour, and it is happening more often.

The car also has the following fault codes:
P0340
P1297
P0352
P0406
P0404
P0301
P0304
P0305
P0300

l know a few of these are linked to the stalling but l know some of them are not. l plan on fixing all the codes but for the time being my first importance is to have the car run without stalling. If someone could help me pinpoint the problem and give me a good place to start to quickly, cheaply, and easily fix this problem that would be greatly appreciated.

could be ignition system or fuel supply system

The code p0340 is a cam shaft sensor failer code ,it is whats probably causing the p0300 to p0305 codes all relating to miss-fires of cylinders,p0352 is ignition coil pack 2 failer,p0404 is open position sensor performance in EGR circuit, p0406 is Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit High


Hope that helps & best of luck.By the way I'd start with the cam shaft sensor checking it is connections for rust or corrosion & try cleaning the plug in contacts , but u might need to replace the sensor , then once that is done see what happens when u try to start the car again , but u may need to replace the ignition coil before the engine will start , plus u can get the sensor cheap enough new at a parts outlet & maybe pick up the ignition coil from a do it yourself auto wreckers' I've got a feeling that ur vehicle may only have one ignition coil regardless of what the code indicates but be sure to replace it or them'' , l believe that the other remaining codes will probably diasappear after u do this work.
